Pair: Queen's South Africa Medal 1899, (type 2 reverse with faint ghost date), - five clasps - Cape Colony, Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith, Transvaal, Laing's Nek; King's South Africa Medal 1902, - two clasps - South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902. 6287 Pte G.Morgan, K.R.R.C. on first medal, 6278 Pte T.Morgan, K.R.R.C. on second medal. Both medals impressed. Ribbon damaged on second medal, edge bump on obverse of first medal, otherwise extremely fine.

Note the variance in number and initial on the medals which appears to be an error when naming.

Together with parchment page from a small Army notebook, Description Card For Active Service, with details written, '6287 Morgan/Pl. 3. KRR/Father/John/ address details'; Army Official stamped registered mail envelope dated 30Nov03 and addressed to M.Morgan, with address details; brass vesta case.
