PHOENICIA, Aradus, (probably 348/347-339/8 B.C.), silver stater, (10.45 g), year 6 = 334-3 B.C., obv. head of marine deity to right, with laurel wreath, dotted border, rev. galley to left, waves below, above in Phoenician "year 6, ex Arado" (cf.S.5971, Betlyon 26 [fifth Aradian Series], BMC 55, Pl.II, 10). Good fine, with countermark on reverse of bird over letter.

Ex Alan Jordan Collection and purchased from Noble Numismatics Sale 77 (lot 3255).
