CARIAN ISLANDS, Rhodes, (275-250 B.C.), silver didrachm, (6.52 g), obv. head of Helios three-quarter face to right with hair loose, rev. rose, with bud on right, to left prow, P O to left and right, above **[AR]ISTONOMOS*, (S.5037, Ashton "The Coinage of Rhodes 408-190 BC" 180, BMC 45 [p.235], SNG Finland 487 [similar dies]). Very fine, scarce.

Ex Alan Jordan Collection and purchased from Noble Numismatics Sale 813 (lot 3275).
