A map of the Rout (sic) which Hannibal took, through Gaul and over the Alps into Italy, coloured map (22x29cm), an original copperplate engraving from the important series, Roman History, from the building of Rome to the ruin of the Commonwealth by Nathaniel Hooke, on larger backing sheet and matted; Expeditio Hannibalis Paenorum Imperatoris uti describitur in Livio & Cornelio Nepote, (Hannibal's route through Gaul and over the Alps into Italy), coloured map (15.5x22.5cm), an original copperplate engraving by Herman Moll c1732, on a page (18x28.5cm) on a larger backing sheet; Romanum Imperium, sicut in Caesaris Commentariis et Silio Italico (Roman Empire of Caesar and Silius Italius), coloured map (15.5x26cm), an original copperplate engraving by Herman Moll c1732, on a page (18x28.5cm) on a larger backing sheet. The first published in Dennis de Coetlogon's 'Universal History of the Arts and Sciences', about 1738. Herman Moll who engraved the last two became the foremost map publisher in England.
