Parthia, Vologases IV, (147-191 A.D.), billon tetradrachm (13.05 g), Seleukeia on the Tigris mint, dated Seleukid era Daisios 497 (May, 186 A.D.), obv. diademed bust left, tapering beard, earring visible, wearing tiara, B behind, rev. [BACI**L*EWC BAC]I**L*E[WN APCAKOY] O**LOG*[ACOY **D*IKAIOY E]**PIF*[ANOYC **FILELL*HNOC], Vologases seated left on throne, Tyche standing right before him, presenting a diadem and holding sceptre, ZqY (year) above, **D*AIC[...] (month) below, (S.5856, Sellwood 84.13, Shore 427 var. (legend), BMC Parthia pg. 225, 6 (Vologases III); MACW 684). Lightly toned, good very fine.
