Commercial Bank, Hobart Town, Tasmania, second issue, black and white printer's proof on paper, ten pounds, Hobart Town, 1st January 18.., imprint of Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, a 58mm piece removed at Director signature reserve for cancellation, 'from this' pencilled next to date (MVR 2b). Glue remnants on back corners, tone spot, otherwise good extremely fine and very rare.
