Turkey, Ottoman Empire, Mehmed V (1909-1918), State Notes of the Ministry of Finance, specimen one thousand livres, AH1333 (1917), A 0000, signed Cavid on front, unsigned on back, Specimen in Arabic perforated at signature (P.107s; Gaciroglu RS-6-4). Bent corners and crease at right, otherwise extremely fine and excessively rare.
Gaciroglu states that an issued example of this note is unique. Unpriced in Pick. A typed list with the collection indicates that 5,210 were printed.
