A.F.Buzzini, Vic:Mtd:Rifles on first medal. 101 Sgt A.F.Buzzini. A.N & M.E.F. on second medal, No.62 W.O. (Regimental Sergt. Major) A.F.Buzzini. 51st.Inf. on third medal, A.Buzzini. Ess. & Flem. Score 205. 1912 on last medal. First three medals impressed, last medal engraved. Swing mounted, some contact marks and hairlines, otherwise fine - very fine.

Angelo Francis Buzzini, tinsmith, served for several years part-time with 1st Battalion Infantry Brigade; joined 1st Victorian Infantry Coy for Boer War service as Sergeant, this unit later to become Mounted Infantry; due to shortage of officers because of promotions, Sgt Buzzini was given charge of a Coy; 1901-1914 served as RSM of 51 Infy Bn and in 1912 was Col Sgt in 1 Bn 5th AIR; WWI: Enl.06Nov1914 in AN&MEF serving as Col Sgt with C Coy 3 Bn (Tropical Force) under Col Petherbridge; Emb.early 1915; RTA and Disch.23Dec1915; Sgt Buzzini was active in the Victorian Rifle Assn and won the silver Affiliated Clubs Medal for shooting in 1912.
