1914-15 Star. 8438 Sgt E.R.Mitchell. 20/A.S.C. A.I.F. Impressed.; also swing mounted WWI miniature group of four being a trio and MSM, the second and last medals in silver. A single and a miniature group, good very fine - extremely fine.

MSM, British War Medal 1914-18 and Victory Medal 1914-19 to same recipient sold in Noble Numismatics Sale 56 (lot 4234).

Recommendation: 4th Australian Divisional Train, Squadron Quarter Master Sergeant (WO Class 2) Eric Robert Mitchell - 'An excellent Supply NCO. His devotion to duty has left nothing to be desired. During the move of the Divisional Artillery from Cartigny to Premont the Supply Situation, owing to the late arrival of Pack Trains was of a difficult nature, and this NCO under very adverse conditions proved himself to be of material assistance to his formation. He has been highly spoken of by his Supply Officer and recommended for reward. Period covered 16th September 1918 to 11th November 1918.
