Australia, WWI, tribute fob, in gold (9ct, 8.9g, 32x45mm), obverse, King's crown above central dome with soldier standing with rifle across chest and Rising Sun hat badge behind with name in ribbon scroll as 'Australia New Zealand Army Corps', around the domed section at the top, 'Honor' and around the bottom, 'He Answered His Country's Call', reverse inscribed, 'Presented to/Cpl J.T.Caton./26th B'tl/From Killarney Residents/for gallant service/in France'. Good very fine.
