Taras on dolphin, (SNG Cop. 725); Caria, Halicarnassos, AE 17, c.3rd-2nd century B.C., obv. Poseidon head, rev. trident, (SNG Cop. 363); Lesbos Island, c.330-280 B.C., AE 15, obv. Hera head right, rev. thundebolt and caduceus, **DIOL[E]*, (BMC 7, p.172); Byzantine, Manuel I, (1143-1180), billon trachy, obv. Virgin seated facing with infant Christ, rev. Manuel standing facing, (S.1964); Arab-Byzantine, obv. standing caliph, uncertain mint, (BMC 96); another bust of caliph, Emesa (Hims) mint, (BMC 65-8).
