Caracalla, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius issued 213, Rome mint, (2.87 g), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. Libertas standing to left, holding sceptre and pileus, around P M TR P XVI COS IIII P P, (S.6830, RIC 209a, RSC 224). Minor flan crack, otherwise nearly extremely fine, scarce.
