Phoenicia, Tyre, (c. 2nd century B.C. - 1st century A.D.), silver shekel or tetradrachm, (14.19 g), Tyre mint, issued year 32 = 95-94 B.C., obv. laureate head of Melqarth beardless to right, dotted border, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, carrying a palm, standing on prow of ship, club to left, above **BL*, monogram **HDR* in right field, around **TUR OU [IERAS K]AI ASULOU*, dotted border, (S.5918, Cohen [p.504, reports date as C], BMC 120 [p.241], H.1618 [817]). Lightly toned, very fine/good very fine.
