Corinthia, Corinth, (350-330 B.C.), silver stater (8.39 g), obv. Pegasus with pointed wing flying to left, q below, rev. head of Athena to left wearing Corinthian helmet over a leather cap, to right facing head of Helios, **D* below truncation, (cf.S.2629, Calciati "Pegasi" I, 392-3 p.252), Cammann NN&M 53 No.56 [Pl.V], Ravel 1006). [p.251, Pl.LX same reverse die]). Toned, good very fine and very rare, with BCD tickets.

Ex BCD collection, Sold Numismatik Lanz Munchen, Sale 105 November
26, 2001 (lot 100) and previously sold Sotheby's Auction 15, November 1984 (lot 42). Toned coming from an old collection. Total of specimens noted by Ravel = 3 with one only described by illustration.
