Australia, invitations to the Commonwealth of Australia Inaugural Celebrations from The Government of New South Wales requesting the honor of 'your' (written in ink) presence (2 with identical design but different events), 1. at a Naval & Military Banquet in the Town Hall Sydney on the 5th January 1901, and 2. at a Municipal & Civil Luncheon in the Town Hall Sydney on the 7th January 1901, both on commemoration of the Ceremonial Swearing in of The Earl of Hopetoun, as first Governor General of The Commonwealth of Australia. Printed in colour and on card suitable for framing, foxing, particularly on card border and some fading to colour, otherwise very fine. (2)
