ELIZABETH II, Royal Mint pattern dollar, specimen in cupro-nickel (27.1g), 1982. Uncirculated and excessively rare.
This pattern not only has the reverse of the 1980 'fantail' dollar but features a modified obverse effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, by James Berry, a design which was not adopted at the time. An issued example is shown below it for comparison.
