Baltic Medal 1854-55. Commdr W.H.Hall, H.M.S.Hecla. Naming erased and privately engraved. Good very fine.

Admiral Sir William Hutcheon Hall KCB, FRS (1797-1878) served in the first China War and in the Crimean War one of his commands was HMA Hecla, a 6-paddle steamer. For this service he was Mentioned in Despatches and slightly wounded.
