Ancient Greek, various silver coins in mixed condition, includes Demetrios II Nikator, tetradrachm, Tyre mint, (13.21 g), uncertain date (S.7105, HGC 9, 870, SC 1970); Cherronesos, hemidrachm, (2.46 g), obv. forepart of lion right, looking back, (cf.S.1602); Cilicia, Satrap of Cilicia, Datames, (378-362 B.C.), silver stater, (9.94 g), Tarsus mint, obv. Baal of Tarsus seated to right with head facing, rev. the sky-god Ana pointing towards Datames (named "Tdnnm" in Aramaic), thymiaterion between them, all within shrine, (S.5646, SNG Cop.300, SNG France 294); Bithynia, Herakleia Pontika, silver drachm (352-345 B.C.), (3.67 g), obv. young Herakles head left, rev. Tyche bust to left, (S.3774, BMC 18) (illustrated); Bithynia, Kios, (c.345-315 B.C.), silver hemidrachm (2.15 g), Sosandros, magistrate, (S.3757, SNG Ashmolean 368; HGC 7, 553); Cappadocia, Kingdom of Ariobarzanes I, Philoromaios, (95-63 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.69 g), obv. head of Ariobarzanes I to right, wearing diadem, rev. Athena standing to left with left hand supporting spear and shield, and right hand outstretched supporting Nike left, (S.7302). Mostly toned, fair - nearly very fine. (6)
