The Royal Bank of Australia, one pound, Sydney 184-, imprint 'W.H. Bruce Engraver and Printer, Trump Street, King Street, Cheapside', unissued note form (cf MUR fig 217 and Nicholsn Sale lot 1601). Creases and minor centre hole and minor tears otherwise good fine and extremely rare. This and the next lot are recently discovered examples of these interesting notes with interest bearing eature and counterfail maragin on left hand side that were issued by the Bank founded by Ben Boyd of whaling fame.
