British Legion Medal 1836, for San Sebastian, in silver. Unnamed. Good fine and scarce.

The British (Anglo Spanish) Legion was formed by General Sir George de Lacey Evans and consisted of a small squadron of marines and a detachment of Royal Artillery. The medal was awarded by Queen Isabella to those present at San Sebastian on 5 May 1836.
