War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. NX23335 B.R. Rudd. Both medals impressed. Display mounted on board using double sided tape, extremely fine.

Together with North Sydney High School Sports Union medal in silver, inscribed on reverse, 'Athletics/100 & 220 yds Under 14/B.Rudd/1932'; Royal Life Saving Society bronze medal, inscribed on reverse, 'B.R. Rudd/15.12.35'; also other items belonging to his brother, namely, a pair of Army ID tags on leather neck strap, tags marked 'NX80594/K E Rudd/CE/04'; RLSS Cadet Life Saving Resuscitation badge, reverse inscribed, 'K.R.'; Returned from Active Service badge (KC).

Brian Richard Rudd, born 10Aug1919 at Mosman, NSW; Enl.31May1940 at Paddington, NSW; Emb.10Apr1941; Lt Rudd, 2/2 MG Bn was killed in Palestine by car accident while on authorised leave when a car and bus collided because the bus was on the wrong side of the road.
