Group of Five: British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19; War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45; Belgium Veterans of King Albert 1st Medal 1909-1934. 1762 Sjt B.C.Knight. 30 Bn. A.I.F. on first medal, same on second medal except Sgt instead of Sjt, 65929 on third and fourth medals, last medal unnamed. Some carbon spotting on obverse of fourth medal, otherwise very fine - extremely fine.

Together with WWI Returned from Active Service badge (AIF) numbered 41861; WWII General Service badge type 2 numbered AF15428; East Ham Education Authority, Perfect Attendance Medal, 1907-8, in bronze (39mm), inscribed to, 'B.Knight'; Pay Books for WWI (3) and WWII (2).

WWI: Bertie Clarence Knight, pawnbroker and jeweller's assistant, age 21, born at Walworth, London, England; Enl.04Aug1915 at Holdsworthy, NSW in 30 Bn; Emb.17Dec1915; 13Mar1916 to 37 Bty FAB as Gunner; 23Apr1916 Bombardier; 25Oct1916 Cpl; 14Aug1918 T/Sgt; 13Oct1918 Sgt; 18Jan1919 accidentally seriously wounded by bayonet at Harfleur where training in bayonet fighting was conducted; Disch.08Nov1919 in London.

WWII: Enl.10Jun1942; Disch.06Feb1947 as A/Sgt ex EAHQ Bradfield Park.
