Family Group: Brother: Trio: 1914-15 Star; British War Medal 1914-18; Victory Medal 1914-19. Pte W. Geddes. 7/L.H.Rgt. A.I.F. on first medal, 524 Cpl W. Geddes 7 L.H.R. A.I.F. on last two medals.; Sister: Pair: War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal 1939-45. 501042 M.S. Geddes. All medals impressed. Display mounted on board using double sided tape, very fine - extremely fine.

1. Best Shot fob in gold (9ct; 5.2g), obverse with monogram initials, 'WG', reverse inscribed, 'Pres. To/W.Geddes./Best shoot/700yds/by/Ald. Dash./1914' .
2. Katoomba Boys Assn tribute medal in gold (9ct; approx 8.5g; 23.5mm), reverse inscribed, 'To/W.L. Geddes/From/Katoomba Boys/Assn'.

William Longfield Geddes, traveller, 18, born at Katoomba, NSW; Enl.02Nov1914 at Liverpool as Trooper in 7LHR; 03Nov1914 father's consent to join Expeditionary Force by telegram; to Cpl 15Nov1914; KIA at Gallipoli 30Jul1915, DOD also shown as 27Jul1915 which is probably correct as he is shown as buried on 29Jul1915 at Shell Green Cemetery, near Anzac Cove, Gallipoli.
