Malaysia, Kedah Sultanate, tin double ring currency c.1700, probably originally issued by Sultan Muhammad Jiwa (1710-1778), these rings come from seperating the cockeral that is attached to three or six rings, these examples are broken off rings for these primative pieces, (cf.Saran Singh SS20d [p.244]). Very fine and rare. (30)
