Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.92 grams), Uncertain mint, style of that issued 297-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, spear behind, on throne letters KB?, no other monograms or adjuncts, to left BASILEWS to right LYSIMAXOY, (cf.S.6814, Thompson -, not in SNG's etc.). Good very fine and a very rare, unlisted type.
