Italy, Calabria, Taras, (272-235 B.C.), silver stater, (6.39 grams), obv. naked boy rider crowning stationary horse to left, below **FILW TAC, above to right **DI, rev. Taras astride a dolphin to left, holding a kantharos and distaff,to right a cock, **TAPAS below, (cf.S.374, Vl.847, SNG ANS 1174 similar dies). Good very fine.
