Brigadier D B Rendell CBE MC, late of the Middlesex Regiment, founder member of the Parachute Regiment (2 Para 1942-1945) and Provost Marshal (Army) died on 22 September 2010. Rheindahlen was a military base, (Joint Headquarters), in M”nchengladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany active from 1954 to 2013. It functioned as the main headquarters for British forces in Germany.
