Banking, The Colonial Bank of Australasia Limited, 189[3], two hundred and twenty ordinary shares, black print, scrollwork with company coat of arms left side. With pin holes, vertical folds, very fine.
Established in 1856 the Colonial Bank of Australasia suspended business on 6 May 1893 and re-opened in July 1893. On 25 November 1918 the bank went into liquidation with its accounts, branches and agencies being transferred to the National Australia Bank.
