Fieldings, Merchant and Importer, Boulia, Queensland, uniface five shillings, proof currency note, not dated only 193 printed, numbered 1500, not signed, unwatermarked, value as 'FIVE SHILLINGS' lower left, no imprint, on front 'Fieldings Merchant and Importer, Boulia Queensland', green, IOU white behind otherwise black on white, signed and dated 30.12.32 on back, (type illustrated Vort Ronald..Shinplaster..p.47). Nearly extremely fine and extremely rare as a proof.

Another rare "shinplaster" issue from Northern Queensland from the same town that issued the W.S. Weigh note in 1931. Although not dated and as a proof general form, based on style and area suggests a date of the early 1930s.
