Van Diemen's Land, promissory note, Kemp & Gatehouse, ten shillings, Hobart, 18- (1824), imprint of S.Clayton Sculpt, Sydney, (note is noted in Vort Ronald Colonial Currency & Promissory Notes p.75). Heavy folds, tears at folds, few pin holes and stains, otherwise good fine and very rare.
