Egypt, Kingdom of, Ptolemy IV, (221-205 B.C.), AE 33 hemidrachm, (35.79 g), Alexandria mint, issued 221-205 B.C., obv. diademed head of Zeus Ammon to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt, in front cornucopiae, around **BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOU*, between legs **DI* monogram, (cf.S.7814, Sv.1127, SNG Cop. 202, Pitchfork 50); other Greek coins include Sasanian drachm (VF); Rhodes, didrachm (VG); Egypt, billon tetradrachms of Maximianus and Probus; Palestine, procurator issues of Pontius Pilate and Porcius Festus, (H.1341, 1351) and Antioch large bronze of Philip II, rev. Tyche head right, (S.4147). Mostly fine unless noted. (8)
