Ian R Poole, born 1957 at Rowley Regis, UK; Enl.1980 in Royal Navy as Acting Catering Assistant; served in Falklands conflict on type 2 frigate HMS Brilliant; subsequent service in Gulf War.

Together with a CD containing copy of ship's log for the period of hostilities as photographed from ADM 53/118919/20/21; a copy of the Daily Express newspaper dated May 24 1982 with the first six pages devoted to the Falklands War; a small batch of 'Capture Card for Prisoner of War' in English and Spanish as used by International Committee of the Red Cross; and research.
