Alexander Morrison memorial medal, in gold (15ct, 31.6g, 39mm), edge inscribed 'James D.Burns'. In case of issue, gold blocked inside 'Stokes & Sons / Medallists / Melbourne, nearly FDC.

Alexander Morrison (1829-1903) was principal of Scotch College 1857. He took the lead in the foundation of Ormond College in 1881. Vice-Chairman of Aborigines Protection Board 1887-89.
