Galerius Valerius Maximinus II, as Augustus (A.D. 309-313), AE folles, issued mid 311, Nicomedia mint, (5.08 g), obv. laureate head to right of Maximinus, around IMP C GAL VAL MAXIMINVS PF AVG, rev. around HERCVLI VICTORI, Hercules standing right, leaning to left on his club wrapped in lion skin, star over A in left field, SMN in exergue, (S.14860, RIC 68) (illustrated); Crispus, (317-326) as Caesar, Rome mint, (3.70 g), issued 318-9, obv. laureate and cuirassed bust to left, holding a spear and shield, CR ISPVS NOB CAES around, rev. Roma seated right holding on her knees a shield inscribed X/V, shield at side, P R across, around ROMAE AETERNAE, in exergue RT, (S.16814, RIC 152) (illustrated); Constantius II as Caesar, (A.D. 337-361), AE folles, issued 330-335, Siscia mint, (2.79 g), obv. laureate head to right of Constantius, around FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C, rev. two soldiers each with spear and shields, two standards between them, around GLORIA EXERCITVS, in exergue **.G*SIS., (cf.S.3986). Mostly extremely fine, first two scarce. (3)
