VIC[TORIA A]VG, Victory advancing to right, holding wreath and palm, (S.11454, RIC. 33, C.70); Tacitus, (A.D. 275-276), billon antoninianus, Rome mint (5.16 g), obv. radiate bust of Tacitus to right draped and cuirassed, around IMP CM CL TACITVS AVG, rev. around FIDES MILITVM Fides Militum standing left holding standard in each hand, XXIS in exergue, (cf.S.11780, RIC 87); Probus, (A.D. 276-282), antoninianus, Cyzicus mint, (4.06 g), obv. helmeted and cuirassed bust to left, holding spear and shield, around IMP C M AVR PROBVS P F AVG, rev. Probus on horseback galloping right spearing enemy, around VIRTVS PROBI AVG, C M below, XXIT in exergue, (cf.S.12075, cf.RIC 913) (unlisted mintmark); Carus, (A.D. 282-283), Siscia mint, billon antoninianus, (3.70 g), obv. First coin short on flan, otherwise very fine and scarce; Probus silvered, others with attached green oxidation, otherwise nearly extremely fine. (4)
