Gallienus, (A.D. 253-268), billon antoninianus, issued in sole reign (259-268), Antioch mint, (3.05 g), issued 266-7, obv. radiate bust right, GALLIENVS AVG around, rev. VIRTVS AVG, star in left field, Virtus standing left, resting on shield and spear, (S.10402, RIC 668) (illustrated); Salonina, antoninianii (5) various reverses, (S.10633 [3], 10639, 10662); clipped siliqua of uncertain emperor probably Magnus Maximus, assorted AE mostly of the 4th century (51) including Decentius double centenionalis, Trier mint (S.4032), poor - EF, together with AE asses of Claudius (6), Vespasian, these fair, all in need of conservation and probably from a small hoard. The first coin with original silvering several from Salonina with some silvering, some with green corrosion, otherwise poor - extremely fine. (64)
