Nero, (A.D. 54-68), silver denarius, issued c.66-67, Rome mint, (3.28 g), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, around [IMP NERO C]AESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. Salus enthroned to left, holding patera, SAL[VS] in exergue, (S.1945, RIC 67, BMC 96, RSC 318). Short on flan, otherwise fine.
