Ancient Greek and ancient Roman coins, from finds in the Middle East, includes Syria, Demetrios II Nikator, Second reign, 129-125 B.C., silver Drachm (4.11 g), Antioch mint. Struck 129-128 BC. Diademed head right / Zeus Nicephorus seated left; **X*O in exergue, (SC 2167c; HGC 9, 1127a); Seleucis and Pieria, Emesa mint, Caracalla (198-217), billon tetradrachm (13.50 g), dated COS 4 (215-217 AD), obv. laureate head right, rev. eagle standing facing, head left, wreath in beak; between legs, radiate and draped bust of Shamash left, (Prieur 969); assorted Greek imperial AE mostly Seleucid (3), Roman (2) including follis of Galerius Maximianus as Caesar, Antioch mint (S.14379) and Licinius II, billon follis, Antioch mint, (S.15410).
