Burns to be Warrant Officer Class II from 13 May 1916; Commissioning appointment document for Vincent A. Burns to be Second Lieutenant from 12 August 1916; tribute certificate from Trois Arbres Cemetery; part of King's Message sent with Memorial Plaque; AIF, Kit Store, Deceased Soldier's Kit tag for Lieut. V.A.Burns; photo of the grave of Lieut. V.A.Burns, in official AIF holder; 36th Bn WWI enamel colour patch lapel badge, pin back; Baptismal certificate from St James Church at King street, Sydney for Vincent Alexander Burns dated July 23, 1903; two programme booklets for the ceremonial church service at St James Church, King Street, Sydney on Sunday 13 August 2000 for The Relocation of the Colours of the 36th Battalion; heavy timber hinged-opening photo holder (approx A4 size), front features an incuse carved 36 Bn crest, inside has hand-written faded poem on left and provision for photo on right side; small unofficial 36 Bn flag and 36 Bn tinnies (6) all affected by foxing; wallet case with some personal photos and a small note book; numerous photos, postcards, newspaper cuttings, correspondence and images of two Roll of Honour boards featuring V.A.Burns, one from Dept of Public Works.
