DSM: LG 1/1/1942 New Years Honours List.
Citation: 'For outstanding zeal, patience and cheerfullness, and for setting an example of wholehearted devotion to duty, without which the high tradition of the Royal Navy could not have been upheld.'
Stoker P.Bradley was a rating in the Royal Naval Patrol Service engaged on coastal patrol and minesweeping. The LT in his service number indicates Lowestoft which was the main base of the RNPS.
