Thrace (Moesia Inferior), Istros, (400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (5.64 g), obv. two young male heads facing, side by side, left upright, right inverted, rev. sea-eagle standing to left on dolphin to left, which it attacks with its beak, above **ISTRIH*, **D* removed above from die, below dolphin monogram PAX, (cf.S.1669; cf.SNG BMC 243, cf.SNG Stancomb 146). Toned, extremely fine.
