Italy, a family collection of prize and exhibition medals, includes enamel and gilt Grand Prize medals for III International Exposition at Perugia 1904; International Exposition at Florence 1904; II International and National Wine Exposition at Florence 1905; 1st Great International Exposition at Napoli 1905; Exposition of Free and Enhanced Industries at Milan 1919; Exhibition Cases at San Remo 1921 (suspension crown missing); also Jury of Honour badge for Exposition of Industrial and Commercial Awakening at Bagni di Montecatini, undated; all of the preceding pieces are uniface; other die struck medals, III International Exposition at Perugia 1904, in gilt bronze (46mm) by Luigi Gori (2); International Exposition at Florence 1904, in gilt bronze (46mm); International Exposition of the Philathropic Union of Culinary, Food and Hygiene in Paris 1905, in gilt bronze (58mm) by Massonnet; Exposition of Free and Enhanced Industries Milan 1919, in gilt bronze (55mm); Exhibition Cases at San Remo 1921, in gilt bronze (54mm) by Landi; another Labor award 'E Labore Decus', in gilt bronze (44mm) features seated Mercury holding cornucopia and caduceus and with anchor below and laurel spray at base. All but one enamel prize medal and two other medals have been glued to display boards, the enamelled medals and the badge have small areas of enamel loss, otherwise overall very fine - extremely fine.
