Hungary, Ferdinand II (1619-1637), silver taler, 1622K-B, Kremnitz mint, (27.82 g), obv. +FERDINAND .D.G. RO. I. S. AVG .GER .HVN BOH. REX, laureate bust of Ferdinand to right, rev. .ARCHIDVX.AVS. DVX. BVR. MAR.MOR.CO. TYR. 1622, crowned imperial double eagle with shield of arms on breast, K B across, (D.3129, KM.75). Light obverse scratches, otherwise extremely fine, scarce.

Grandson of Ferdinand I, he was born in Graz 1578, became archduke of Inner Austria 1590 with personal rule from 1595, king of Bohemia and Hungary from 1617 and ruler of Austria and Holy Roman Emperor from 1619 to his death in 1637.
