L**E* across, eagle facing with open wings, head to right, around ETOVC E, (S.11686, BMC 2360, Milne 4426, Koln 3086); others denarius of Septimius Severus (pitted); Egypt, billon tetradrachm, of Diocletian, year 3 (A.D. 286-7), rev.
