Fortuna seated to left, holding cornucopiae and resting left arm on rudder, around FORTVNAE FELICI, (S.6584, RIC 553 [Severus], RSC 58); Gordian III, (A.D. 238-244), silver antoninianus, Antioch mint, issued 242-4, (5.27 g), obv. radiate bust right, around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev. ORIENS AVG, Sol standing left holding globe and raising hand, (S.8626, RIC 213, RSC 167); another, issued 242, Antioch mint, (4.14 g), obv. radiate bust right, around IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, rev.
