Syria, Kingdom of, Antiochus VII, (138-129 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.56 g), uncertain Cappadocian mint, obv. diademed head of Antiochus VII to right, fillet border, rev. Athene standing to left, holding wreath bearing Nike in hand and other hand on shield with Medusa head and holding spear, **BASILEWS ANTIOCOU, and to left **EUER GETOU, to left monogram of **DI over A, before Athena O, behind Athena **L*, (cf.S.7092, SC 2148, SNG Spaer 1872-1874, SMA Newell 298, BMC 24). Nearly extremely fine, scarce.
