Thrace, Kingdom of, Lysimachos, (323-281 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.50 g), Lysimachia mint, issued 297-281 B.C., obv. head of Alexander to right, with diadem and horn of Ammon, within dotted circle, rev. Athena enthroned to left, supporting Nike, lion's head inner left, monogram **DO* on throne, to right **BASILEWS* to left **LUSIMAXOU*, (cf.S.6814, SNG Berry 398, M.-, Thompson 16 [pl.16, 16]). Toned, some die rust on the obverse, otherewise extremely fine.
