Scotland, The Union Bank of Scotland Limited, one pound, uncut sheet of four printer's proofs, all Glasgow or Edinburgh, 2nd August 1951, D/7 151000, D/7 152000, D/8 176000, D/8 177000, notations 'Starting Nos correct for 25,000 notes of each serie 24.1.51' and 'Exhibited 31 March 1952' across part of central margin, three vertical lines of small punch holes (P.S816a; D.42-1). Some mount marks on back, otherwise extremely fine. (4)
