Scotland, The Union Bank of Scotland Limited, one pound, uncut sheet of four printer's proofs, all Glasgow or Edinburgh, 1st June 1948, X/1 000001, X/1 001001, X/2 025001, X/2 026001, notations 'Correct as 1st Nos. for 25,000 notes of each serie 20.9.48' across part of central margin, three vertical lines of small punch holes and bankstamps on back (P.S815c; D.41a-4). Some mount marks on back, otherwise extremely fine. (4)
