Description
Elizabeth II, Royal Mint pattern proof dollar, in silver (.925, 27.6g), 1982. FDC and excessively rare.
This pattern not only has the reverse of the 1980 'fantail' dollar but features a modified obverse effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, by James Berry, a design which was not adopted at the time. An issued example is shown below it for comparison.
